Adds legacy USB ports to your USB C only computer – My XPS 17 has 4 USB C ports. No “A” ports although there are still a lot of USB A devices. The laptop came with an adapter that plugs into the C port with an HDMI and a single USB A port. There are times when I have 2 or more USB A devices (portable hard drives) where I need to transfer data beween them and do not want to transfer to the laptop first. This hub does the trick, plugging directly into the laptop USB C port and multiple USB A devices that can send data directly from one USB A to another.
