Easy to get working using the WPS button, other methods not tried. – Setup was very easy using the WPS button method. I followed the instructions and then left the device for couple hours near the WiFi base station. I then unplugged the unit and moved it to a new location in the direction of the “WiFi dead zone”. All the LEDs came on in the correct fashion and within a few minutes I could connect to the new SSID with my cell phones. I’m still having some difficulty with my Windows 11 computer connecting, but everything else I have tried is working just great. I barely ever use Windows in that part of the house, so not a problem for me.

Extended Wi-Fi Signal – I used this Wi-Fi Extender so that the signal could be picked up in the garage for installing a wi-fi garage door opener. The extended was simply plugged into a wall outlet 3 rooms from the base wi-fi. The signal strength was still 2 bars and the went through the exterior wall to reach the garage opener. No loss of signal in the weeks that it has been installed. The externder can also be easily relocated to another room (or outdoor porch) to extend the signal to the patio.

Overall function is as described; works well – This product was delivered on time and as described; and the installation was easy as well. I used the WPS button on the router and the extender. The extender is not just amplifying the existing WiFi signal, it builds two new WiFi SSID’s (one for the 2 and one for the 5Ghz Wifi channels) with the original SSID followed by “_ext”. This is not so nice because you have to tell all devices in your network about the new SSID and password again. After this was done everything worked as described. The speed of the the new extender wifi networks are a bit slower than the original ones.

The house I live in has primarily concrete wall so from when my router is to the back bed room I have zero chance of getting a 5ghz signal and the 2.4ghz was weak where my phone was consistently flipping form weak wifi to weak LTE signal. Once I installed this half way down the hall I deleted the 2.4ghz connection out of my phone to test 5ghz EXT and once I loose main router connection it connects quickly to the extender and I speed tested from where my phone sits at night and found the connection to still be quite fast, much better than LTE or 2.4ghz. I have had for 3 weeks now and so far very satisfied. Thanks, Dave

I now have all the wifi I need to get on the internet and stream shows on my tv. I have had to reset it a few times, but only when the power went out at the source. Then it was easy to reset it and get it working again. Very please with my purchase. Would recommend to to anyone looking for an extender. Would buy again if needed to. Haven’t needed tech support so can not rate it.

Directions confusing – Well I find it interesting that it’s supposed to give you great coverage but to be honest it seems to help in my house but it certainly doesn’t reach out enough , but I will try in a different spot to see if it covers better so the jury is still out on this product and it is better to simple it down when applying the directions they package with it . It makes it confusing on which way your supposed to apply it .

I am not sure if the concrete is the issue that blocks the signal when we are farther away. This has boosted the wifi signal by one to two bars. The install didn’t seem to work right away, but we slowed down and walked through the steps in the direction and got it working just fine. Decent price for an extra wi-fi boost! Worth a try!

So far worth the money spent “Happy” – I just got T-Mobile home wireless 5G internet. Since T-Mobile doesn’t have the best service in my area yet I had to put the route in an odd area of an 1800 sq foot house. None the less we only had Wi-Fi in half the house. We needed a solution to this issue and I came across this item. I bought it because of the price and the coverage area. The item was shipped out quickly and I got the product with in 3 days of my order. opened the package and pulled the extender in and way I went with the setup.
