A great value at half-price; at full price I’m not so sure – I bought the MR9600 (aka AX6000) before Christmas while it was at 1/2 off the list price. Although there has been a steep learning curve at times, for that price I’m happy with it. Full price, though? I couldn’t see paying that at this point. It’s a first generation WiFi6 router that, imo, still has some kinks left to work out.

Great price and works well! – Our home does not have complicated wifi needs and we just need a simple wifi connection (no gaming, etc). That being said, this router works extremely well for what we need. We have 2 cell phones and a smart tv and the speed is excellent. Got this router for around $75. I had bought a net gear nighthawk from Costco for more than double the price. Tested speeds on both routers were the same! Returned the night hawk even though it was great as well to help our budget! Set up was a breeze-I am only mildly tech inclined and did not have to perform any kind of trouble shooting.

Excellent Router But . . . – I really like the router and the wifi signal and options it provides. My issue is with setup. No directions were provided – other than dowload the app and setup is a snap. Being in a rural area cellphone service is not always available and one of the reasons we need wifi. Because of this, setting up the router was more difficult than it should’ve been. All of this could have been avoided with a one page set of directions. Thank goodness I view this as a challenge instead of an insurmountable obstacle. Most people would’ve sent it back.

Great low price router! – The USB ports work for smb network storage. I have read a few reviews that said they didn’t. This router has added so my speed to my network. Oh yeah it also was able to to connect to all of my devices without and additional wifi for both 5ghz and 2.4ghz. It took me more time to connect my 20+ devices than to setup the router. Super easy.

Solid Router but not a good choice for apartments with concrete walls. – Before you read the review below, I wanted to briefly detail my small internet/network setup struggles. We moved into a new apartment which has solid concrete walls. It is a 1600 sq ft home with two levels. The modem connection is up stairs in the living room. Our two bedrooms are on the lower level.
