Got a used unit and it doesn’t work very well – I received an obviously used unit that was scratched up and dented. I reached out multiple times through multiple avenues and received no response at all. All Amazon could do was process a return, which isn’t helpful because I still need the unit. I’ve been using it for two months now and it is extremely finicky. I have to restart it multiple times for the signal to engage. When I try to shut it down at night, it automatically comes back on and I can’t figure out how to keep it off. The battery life is almost useless so I have to keep it plugged in at all times. This is fine because I work from home but if you’re on the road, this is not going to be useful for you. Would not buy again. I just finally got starlink in my location so I’m going to try that instead. Pricey, but well worth it since this little device is barely doing what I need it to do.

Update: Didn’t Come Unlocked, but Seller sent unlock code – I was going to return this, in fact, I had started a return, but I also sent the seller an message stating it was a locked device even though it was sold as unlocked. They responded fairly quickly (few hrs) and asked for my imei and they would send me the unlock code. They responded again a few hours later with the unlock code and all is good. If you need a cheap unlocked hotspot that works decently, I would recommend this. It is not as fast as my NightHawk M1, but for it’s price and functionality ratio, it is worth the buy. The seller’s response bumped my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I’m only removing a star for the item due to it’s performance compared to something 5 times it’s cost. I can now use this with my AT&T and T-Mobile sim cards. I’ll test this with Verizon GSM Sim in a few weeks and some international sim cards at the beginning of the year. I’ll try to remember to update this review as my tests continue. I would also like to state that this performs about 2.5 times better with T-Mobile in the same spot over AT&T, but it just might be the bands available in my region.

I do know that I just got it activated at the ATT store, brought it home, plugged it into an outlet and it works great! So far, no problem. It’s awesome!!
