It works at 10 gbs – As described

  2. O. P (verified owner)

Works with Unifi Dream Machine Pro – I bought this to get 2.5Gbps from my modem to my Dream Machine Pro, and it does just that. This has been in use for about four months without issue, and with a handful of relocations, updates, and reconnections it has always reported at the right speed.

  3. R. K (verified owner)

Perfect with AT&T Fiber – Giving full bandwidth for AT&T Fiber

  4. T. C (verified owner)

Not compatible with TP-Link TL-SG3428 – I have two TP-Link TL-SG3428 switches (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0916BP6J5/) and bought 8 of these modules to create two 28 port switches with RJ-45 Ethernet ports. Unfortunately when I plug any one of the 8 modules into port 25 of either switch, and power cycle it, the switch will not boot up. No Ethernet cable is plugged into the module. When I put the modules in the 3 other SFP ports, the processor utilization of the switch went to 80% and stayed there. Oddly, after a time, the processor drops off to normal and the switch is usable; just don’t put a module into port 25 and expect the switch to boot up next time you need to restart it. I hooked up to the switch console port and even the output from the switch is corrupted when a module is in port 25. Take it out, power cycle the switch, and the console shows the proper boot, port status up/down messages and the login prompt.

Excellent trancievers – They work good no issues

  7. P. M (verified owner)

Great SPF – Works great for a fiber run to the shop.

  8. Z. R (verified owner)

Multi-rate worked for my setup – The transceivers worked as I had hoped. Read other reviews stating only 1g and 10g connections possible. In my setup they negotiated at 2.5gbps over copper with a Ubuntu box with a 2.5GBase-T PCIe Network Adapter RTL8125B. The MikroTIK switch advertised rates 1g, 2.5g, 5g and 10g rates. Ethtool on the linux side displayed advertisements from MikroTik and connected speed.
