Suited my need perfectly… – I can’t pretend to know a lot about technology but this did the trick for me! I have a router at the back of my house and just installed security cameras in both the front and back. The signal (without the extender) wasn’t strong enough to connect the camera in the front of my house. Hence I ordered this little guy. Getting it up and running is super easy, it took me less than 5 min and it boosts the signal enough my camera in the from works perfectly now. Its small in size (about the size of 2 packs of cards put together) and has suited my need perfectly. I would definitely buy it again if it another need came up.If you need to boost your signal into other areas in your house I recommend this!nksirtfghbbvgr

Works great, simple to set up, unobtrusive and fantastic value…. – This extender did a perfect job of fixing the spotty connection in the back rooms of our house. Streaming netflix in our bedroom required the door open and significant buffering, and there was no internet in our bathroom. With this extender, our internet now shows no discernable differnce in quality anywhere in our home!. The repeater is extremely easy to use and the set up is a breeze. The setup and can be done either via direct link to router, protected setup (pushing buttons on both units) or via computer and web interface. I chose the later, plugged it into the wall, connected to it and followed the very simple steps on my computer and was up in running within 5 minutes. The unit has lights on it that show its connection to the router as well as devices. If you plug it in and a light is amber or red, it is just a simple matter of moving it a bit closer and trying again.. With it set up and all lights showing green, the connection is fast enough to stream high definition video without issue.As some reviewrs have mentioned, whats even better is that this unit has use as an access point to. It can be plugged directly in to a hotel Ethernet connection, for example, giving you your own private wireless in your room. Not only is this connection often faster than conneting to hotel wireless, but this setup allows you to make a personal WPA secure connection between your computer and the extender as an added layer of security.All in all fantastic product and value.nksirtfghbbvgr

Very, Very happy. Fixed my issues!… – I have a 2 car detached garage that is about 100 feet from my home. After having some issues with our ADT Pulse cameras that are mounted on this garage communicating, we had an ADT tech come out to check the system about 2 weeks ago. At the house, he installed a ‘new’ extender almost identical to this one which got me thinking. I always struggle to get wifi on my laptop when working in the garage on projects, why not try one of these that is not from ADT like the other one. The signal gets there but is extremely weak. (2-4 Mbps) which is virtually unusable. I will add at this point that we have Comcast with 120 Mbps!! (I hate Comcast but it is very fast and very reliable!) I received this item today and it took me, are you ready……… 5 minutes to have it up and running. I am truly confused as to why people have so much trouble getting this going as I had it going in 5 minutes. Seriously!! Now, understand, as I do now, the way this works. This extender connects to your existing wifi. You then place this 1/2 way to where you are trying to get a wifi signal. (note, mine is much less than 1/2 way). Once you connect this to your existing wifi, this creates a NEW signal. Don’t make it harder than it is. Now, for clarification. My Comcast very fast at 120 Mbps. Once it goes thru the Extender and it gets 100ft away to my garage, using Speedtest.Net (recommended!!), it drops to around 20-25 Mbps download and about 5 Mbps upload. More than I honestly expected. Funny, I am writing and sending this review while using the new Extender.Last thing I will say is that this honestly works!! I would send it back if it didn’t. If you are expecting this to BOOST your wifi signal, you are looking at the wrong product!!!! Call your ISP and increase your Mbps as that will fix that problem. Thanks for listening!nksirtfghbbvgr
