No more dead spots… – I live in a large flat (~3000 sq. ft.) in the middle of Chicago and have several “bad for WiFi spots” in it with one room that is particularly bad.Not only the speeds were low , intermittent connection drops, nothing but frustration.Tried several routers, extenders (Comcast Gateway with its own Wifi, in bridge mode with a TP-Link, Securify, etc.) to no avail. The only thing I have not tried yet was mesh network just because it is expensive; however, i was considering it. Then, my neighbor asked me if i tried one of the netgear’s fast lane extenders. After a little research and checking the price, i decided that for $30 I can try one more thing before going with the mesh.I am so glad I did!!! I understand now that there is a reason why so many people say: a) dual band extender b) Netgear!!!!!ALL i can say is Wow! Easy to configure, small and working as promised. a great extender…. – Was having wifi signal problems with my ezviz camera mini O 720p HD wifi camera I put my in my garage. Had good signal in my mud room just before the garage, but once you opened the door and walked into the garage, the signal dropped drastically. I have the camera set to motion detect, where it should record to the ezviz cloud and send me a notification. I get the notification, but most of the time the recorded video skips and isn’t very good. The extender was super easy to set up, took less than 10 minutes. Plugged it in an outlet in my mud room ( the room just before my garage). Bam! Camera now has full signal and records motion detected footage in full hd length! Netgear saved the day!! Going to get the 1200 for my bed rooms in the back of the house!nksirtfghbbvgr

Connectivity issues solved with this extender!… – I live in a remote area where I have limited Internet access. The wireless router I use just didn’t keep a connection in the opposite end of the house where my computer is located. In desperation I ordered this extender and plugged it into an outlet in the computer room and the problem was solved. I recommend this extender, and I also recommend to anyone buying one that they read other reviews that go into detail on how to set it up. It is really easy to set up, but as others have commented, you need to use a tablet instead of a desktop computer to do it and the directions that come with the unit aren’t totally clear on that.nksirtfghbbvgr
