Good Product would rate 3.5 stars if that rating was available. – This product is very good overall, I did notice that the audio plug is a little flaky, as it will produce sound out of one ear in mono and not stereo. Sometimes if I wiggle it just right it will come out in stereo, but most cases if I wiggle it it cuts off and the sound goes through the computer. The reason I know it’s not the headphones, is when I hook them directly into the computer they work perfectly fine. Other than the audio jack I think this is a great product. Maybe mine is defective. If that is the case, maybe Amazon or the company could send me a new one and I will be happy to try it.

Careful,fails if you attach multiple USB hard drives to the ports UNLESS you plug in the PD or a TB3 – Everything works great except when you attach multiple USB 3 hard drives, for example to copy from one to the other. Then the hub starts giving you disk errors and dismounting your drives during the copy. Turns out not all USB-C ports on some computer are created equal. The problem is having enough power. If you plug into a Thunderbolt 3 port it will be fine, but some USB-C ports on computers (Dell XPS for example) don’t provide enough power for 2 USB hard drives so you may need to plug the power supply into the PD port on the hub to keep it happy.

This is obviously an adapter for one of the new computers, most likely a new MacBook, that supports only a USB-C connection.
