Great product that I needed to transfer data – I had computer crash (again) and oddly I was not aware that it did not have an either net cable. Novice here so there may have been a better way to do it. The computer would not fire up or do anything (wireless). once I got the either net cable, I was able to get it to work and pull my work off of it before totally crashed. Thanks to the guys who created this simple little adapter! You saved me !!!

Hope it last. – Faster than the amazon basics. I am on the ATT 300mbps plan and got 320mbps with this device vs 170mbps I got on the amazon basic when plugged to the USB2.0 port. Switched it to USB3.1 and got over 80mbps more compared to the amazon basic at 260mbps.

I have gigabit internet at home, get about 900 Mbps using this adapter, much better than Ethernet ports on my smart TV and even my work laptops! The TV only gets 300 Mbps using its Ethernet port, but 900 with this adapter. Great value.

Works “out of the box” with Windows 10 Pro – As there is a little sticker on the adapter telling you where to download the driver, I did just that on installation. My HP Spectre laptop did not care for it, to put it mildly. So, I uninstalled the device in Device Manager, plugged it back in where it was once again recognized as a new device, and plugged my ethernet cable into it. It worked perfectly. So, don’t install the driver right off the bat like I did. It should work as soon as it’s plugged in and recognized, at least in my laptop.
