It works – I’m getting about 20-50Mb/s with them and it has the absolute worst chance lol. It’s plugged into an outlet by my breaker and my router luckily but it’s then wired to my shed which has ages old wiring of God knows what it could be an extension cord for all I know under my driveway to the shed and all. Anyways it gets decent speed with low ping. About 25-50 download and about 20-40 upload with 20 pin and low jitter. My home internet is gigabit and 10 ping no jitter. This is pretty good though I’m running it with a router that’s not hardwired into it speeds. Just to have outdoor wifi that’s decent it works great to extend a network even in the weird use case I have with the wiring being unknown of type. Shed has glass fuse fusebox so even with ancient wiring it seems to be decent still depending on number of devices. Maybe hardwire or better router would make it better. I give it 4 stars because it can probably do better if I had better stuff my router is also ancient lol

Great Network Expansion – I was apprehensive about this, I wanted to extend my internet to my barn. WiFi is ok but fails in rainy or windy weather. So I bought this for cyber Monday. It works the signal goes through one fuse box down 160Ft of wire underground and through another fuse box. Is it as fast as my internet in the house? No, but you-tube streams at 1080p without lag and i can use the internet no problem.

Works well to extend Ethernet to a room without it – Using WiFi on my main desktop was not ideal. Speeds were inconsistent due to other devices using WiFi and it would constantly change from 5GHz to 2.4GHz and vice versa or drop the network all together (which drops connection to my NAS to a complete CRAWL). Used this powerline adapter because it’s over 75 feet away and running a cable would require drilling in the attic which is not recommended for me to be in at this time of year due to the heat haha. I really appreciated that I am still able to use the power socket so I can have my router and network extender plugged in still like it had been. Using my desktop it is now stable with a low ping and speeds about half of what I receive when connected directly to the router which is acceptable.

Perfect – I never EVER write reviews — but these are awesome. Dead simple to use, I plug them in once and forget about them. My wifi was horrible because I live two floors up from the router, and my boss was getting mad at me for constantly dropping from video calls. But with this product, my connection speed is just as good as if I was plugged in to the router downstairs. If you’re not happy with your internet, get these.

Works way better than expected! – We’ve always had spotty WiFi. Ive tried more powerful routers, range extenders, and neither made much of a difference. With a new Samsung frame tv, I had the option plug in a hard Ethernet line. My house is completely finished, basement and second floor, so running a cable from the router to the tv would be a major project. After researching I stumbled across these power line boxes. Reviews seem mixed depending on your particular home electrical system. My home being a guy rehab with all new electrical I was hopeful but didn’t expect these to work as well as they did. Plugged them in and paired, I was blown away! Consistent speeds just about the same as I was getting plugged straight into the router! My speed tops out at about 80mbps so that’s what I’m getting. But that’s not all, I read some reviews saying certain high power appliances such as an iron would distrib the signal. I have a fake fireplace under my TV with a built in heater, surely this might effect the speed? I plugged the heater into the pass through port and turned it on high, did many more tests with my computer and speeds were unaffected! After several days of use I can say no more buffering when streaming! Didn’t know these things even existed until now but I’ve told several other people about them and plan to add another power line box near the front of my house with a mini router to feed my Ring doorbell which has also struggled with WiFi signal. If your house has older wiring these may not work as well but for me I couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase.

Solved my issues! – I had several cameras with weak signal strength, but that issue is now resolved. It worked as described. I used it to set up another access point using an old router. It’s only been 2 days, but I’m 100% happy with my 2-day results.

Works great! – I don’t have images, but I’m only losing 10% at most in terms of bandwidth going from wifi to this. I believe when I tested it I went from 66mb/s to 60mb/s. It might have been a smaller gap, but it’s close enough to not matter. My upload stayed the same speed, which is good.
