Good range, easy to set up – I got this router as a replacement for the one I was “renting” from my ISP. Overall it’s performance is very good – the range is excellent and I get reception everywhere including my patio, something that the previous router struggled with from time to time (My home is around 2500 sq ft, for reference)

Easy and quick – EDIT May 30th: The router mysteriously stopped connecting? Even with turning off some devices and trying to limit the amount of usage, things were frequently disconnecting. We have removed this one and returned to our previous router. Adjusting stars from 5 to 2, since it did work well for the month and a half it DID work.

Won’t work standalone with AT&T Fiber Internet – I ordered this router to upgrade my AT&T-provided Pace Model 5268AC router; the PACE router is 5 years old and when its Wi-Fi LED burnt out I began worrying about reliability. I chose this TECNO router due to the webpage’s clear setup videos and due to anticipated Wi-Fi 6 bandwidth improvement. After swapping routers and Internet connections I powered up the TECNO router and configured it according to the webpage setup video instructions. The TECNO router hardware is excellent quality, the router configuration software is clearly written, and after some configuration trial-and-error the software indicated TECNO router proper configuration. But my Windows 8 desktop PC reported “limited service” and I could not access the Internet over the Ethernet cable connection to the configured TECNO router.

A Good Looking Piece Of Tech. With Issues. – When looking at how fast tech progress, I find it hard sometimes to keep up, let alone get ahead of it. This year I found myself trying to do just that by updating my router to the TECNO AX1800 with WIFI 6. Having a faster signal transmission that was more secured would work well with 90% of the devices in the home.
