Alternate solution for transferring, printing and viewing files and photos from your Android/Blackberry to a Windows PC – I am the go-to guy when it comes to helping family members with technology. There are times when I find myself needing a unique solution to solve a problem. This is where the Tazzle device peaked my interest. Here’s my recap of my experience and assessment of the product.

Alternate solution for transferring, printing and viewing files and photos from your Android/Blackberry to a Windows PC – I am the go-to guy when it comes to helping family members with technology. There are times when I find myself needing a unique solution to solve a problem. This is where the Tazzle device peaked my interest. Here’s my recap of my experience and assessment of the product.

Dont expect to find any support for this device. – While I am very tech savy and can usually make anything work without issue, the Tazzle will not work. I have tried two laptops and two android devices. While the pc software installs correctly and detects the Tazzle the android device can not find it. The pc software shows the green indicator for the Tazzle being detected, and if I click view it shows waiting for file, however the phone or tablet app can not discover the device. The included instructions only provide directions for using a blackberry and no android. The website has zero info for help other than the three easy steps guide. I will continue to try and make it work, and will update my rating if I am able to figure out what the issue is. I did purchase this at a discount, but right now I still paid to much for it. Also the contact us for help link does not even work.

Good device – The Tazzle works as described. Lot of functionality in this device. I’ve always had to email from my smartphone to my desktop, or hook up a cable to transfer a file over for viewing. My internet at home isn’t great, so sending a file, having to wait for it to upload, let it bounce from the email I use on my phone to the provider I use on my home desktop, then download it on my desktop at home has always been a headache. This does away with that issue as well as gives more functionality to doing more on my phone. I’ve often in the past put off doing things till I got on my desktop at work or home cause of needing to print the work after I got done with it, and it was just as easy to wait till I got to my desktop and rush to get the job finished, or retype it on my desktop then it was to deal with the email loop or hooking a cable to my phone, especially at work where I usually don’t have my cable with me. Good device though. I’ll not say it’s worth the price or not worth it, that is all in how much ease of access is valued to you. I got this at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

I also work in a nonprofit that doesn’t have these technologies available either. This device was an answer to many issues that came up personally and professionally.
