Is delivery offered? And how long does it take to get delivered (Delivery time)
-
Proof of purchase :
Does the shop give you an invoice ?
-
After-sales service :
Do they have an after-sales service to have information about the installation or operation (instructions for use). Also in case of problem, it is the seller who takes charge or you must contact the manufacturer or supplier yourself.

Alas, no. (Was: I’d give this 5 stars (and may yet), but …) – P.S. See my work-arounds in the comments. The device seems to work well once you get past those hurdles.

It’s easy to setup – I wish I could give this product 5 stars. I really am. It’s easy to setup. It’s fast so I am not sure why in the forum people complaining that it’s very slow. But one of the key features is for it to sync with my Dropbox account. There is nowhere in the manual that shows how to do that. I google and found nothing. The tech support is so clueless. Until they could fix this UX issue then I am more than happy to change my rating.

Geared towards basic, low end user – Cannot honestly rate the tech support since I didn’t have to use it! Install of the hard drive and the application to use it is very easy. This hard drive is designed for the low end user that wants to back up their camera roll and other random files. If your looking to stream videos and shows you own then this may not be the system for you.

A GREAT DISCOVERY. WHY IS THIS COMPANY NOT BETTER KNOWN? – After many disappointments with other brands and models, finally a drive that fits my specific needs. I use this drive to transfer music files to from my PC in another room. Works flawlessly. I then use the drive to “link” via wireless router to my ARIA music server, which has a limited storage option. Again, works flawlessly. This last is where other drives fell down. They repeatedly “lost” several tracks on almost every album. Not Apollo.

According to Promise customer service, the Apollo Cloud 2 Duo unit I received is bad, they are replacing. – Spoke to customer service today, they claimed the Apollo Cloud 2 Duo I received is a bad unit, and are sending a replacement. I will update this listing once it is set up with the results. The problem is it stays in updating firmware state and although it looks like it is writing files, none are accessible. Chalk it up to Murphy’s law.
