The remote toggle button makes it worth the price alone – This device is amazing. I use it to switch between my personal PC and my work laptop, and I use it to drive my microphone, my mouse and my keyboard. It works super well. There’s a half second of lag when I switch, but that’s never been an issue for me.

It kinda works, but only if you get a powered USB hub or just don’t plug anything into it – The good news:

Plug-n-play, works as expected, didn’t need external power for sharing mouse/keyboard only – Although I just got this, it works perfectly so far. Time will tell how long it holds up. Bought this so I could use the same keyboard & mouse between my personal computer and work laptop. Much to my surprise, I did not have to plug it in to external power, and it truly was just plug-n-play. There is a very slight delay when pressing the button before it switches over – but I found it’s not as much of a delay compared to other switches. Cords are long enough that it reaches just fine despite my computers being on opposite ends of my desk on the floor. I do wish the wire for the remote portion was thicker – it’s thinner than the rest of the wires and thus seems flimsy.

Good but needs to include a power adapter or have better power delivery – Having a separate button is the really great thing about this product. Nearly all the other usb switches have the toggle button integrated into the rest of the hub but not this one. I’ve been able to hide a huge chunk of wires from being on my desk. My main issue with it is the power on this thing. I couldn’t get my webcam to work until i went through a few different power adapters. i ended up using an “anker powerport C 2 with charging cable” i bought at target which brought the voltage up just a smidge. I also had to fiddle around with which port i was using on my desktop computer. The product should include a power adapter or have a better internal power delivery system for its price.

Finally a usb switch without lag – This is the 4th different KVM/USB switch that I purchased. Every 3.0 one began lagging after 4-5 hours of use before a restart. Not sure if it has anything to do with this one being 3.1 or the different outlet type but this one just works as intended. All I’m using is an RGB gaming mouse and RGD gaming keyboard but it’s great to have one that doesn’t suffer input lag.

Perfect – I think its pretty good with productivity and desktop usage. I have noticed issues in PC games where all my devices will lose power. I do have the external micro usb power connected to my power strip

Easily switch from desktop to work laptop – This product is exactly what you need if you’re looking to use the same mouse and keyboard (and webcam, printer, … any usb peripheral really) on two separate computers.
