It works well for low power usb devices. – This hub work really well for low powered usb devices. I use it for my Condenser Microphone, PS4 controller, charge my headset and to charge my watch. Haven’t had any problems with it. I will say that the material feels kinda cheap and the cord length was shorter than I would have liked. If you plan on using this for a higher powered USB device than you will need to purchase an external power supply as well.

Working exactly as expected. – I had really never considered why or how I might use an on/off switch for a port on a USB hub. A good example is my external USB-powered CD/DVD drive. When it is plugged in, it is “on.” True, not drawing much current, but still On. Turning the switches off for it means it doesn’t use any power on the USB bus, but it also does not show up in my drive list. Turning the switches on when I need to use the drive is simple and quick. The construction seems sounds and of good quality. Another thing I like is that the USB cables plug into their port horizontally – giving it a more organized appearance. I’ve had zero compatibility issues with the unit. I haven’t specifically tested any transfer rates, but it seems to move everything along just fine. Your mileage may vary, of course, depending on your specific USB resources at the mobo level.

great product – im trying to become a streamer and the only problem I always had was not enough ports on my computer bc it only has 2 stupid design in my opinion bc ur mouse takes up one of those ports and I have yet to have a problem with this I love it is so convenient
