Most reliable LTE router ever! Would be perfect if modem was faster – These are workhorses. Very reliable, work right out of the box, get good signal reception, very robust! These are my absolute favorite for working where ever I may be. Only bad thing is they are CAT4 and CAT6 only.

If you use the right carrier, this is a nice unit. – I bought this after watching a YouTube video where the content maker called it his “new favorite router”. After doing a bit of research and such, i decided to try it out. I driver all over the midwest and needed something that was compact but easy to use and i thought this filled that requirement quite nicely…then i actually tried to use it.

Did not expect this – The first router I got was no good, it could not recognize T-Mobile sim card. I spent about 3hrs with T-Mobile support only to realize the sim card is OK so it was the router. Sent it back, received a replacement, put the sim card in, and it started working immediately!

Works great on Verizon – I have struggled with satellite internet for several years, and Starlink is at least a year away from serving my area. I found that a Verizon 4G Jetpack worked fairly well at my house, but it and other mobile hotspots aren’t designed to be used 24/7 for a whole house. I took a chance that I could move the SIM card to the GL-X750V2, and it worked! All I had to do was put in the SIM card (which required a nano to mini adapter), plug the unit in, log in to it, and select Auto Setup. The router part works surprisingly well, and I’m running my whole house (including Amazon Firestick and Hulu plus two cell phones on wifi calling) on the GL-X750V2. Someone with a bigger house might need to attach a separate router, but I’ve found signal strength to be more than adequate. One trick was finding a place with a good cell signal, and I settled on putting it in front of a window that faced a (distant) cell tower. I tried connecting a YAGI antenna to the LTE antenna connection but found that the included antennas worked better. Highly recommended >>IF

Great value with few drawbacks – I’ve been running my home internet from this modem for a little over 8 months now. I’ve tried a set of Proxicast directional Yagi antennae, and now a set of Proxicast omnidirectional antennae. Both perform perfectly well for me. The modem rarely gives me any issues, though it’s not perfect. This modem does need to be rebooted every once and a while (at least once a month), and a few times has gotten “hung” and data wouldn’t flow. There is an option in the portal for “Modem Reset” that actually performs a different function than a reboot would, FYI.
