Handles 2 external screens and external speakers simultaneously – This is my second purchase of this item. The first failed at 12 month nearly to the day. I ordered a second docking station 4 months ago and it’s been working well to date. It manages 2 of my three external monitors and my external speakers on a daily basis without problem. I also use one of the USB ports when copying to a flash drive or external hard drive. The docking station barely gets warm when it’s being used. I’m not sure what happened with the first docking station but I liked it enough to order a replacement.
