A completely customizable router pair — what I’d expect from ASUS! – There are many reviews regarding the RT-AX92U routers that have a lot of either dis- or mis-information, so I’d like to clarify things with this review.

Good coverage over large area – Replaced the venerable AC1900’s with 2 of these. One in the basement, one is 2 floors up. Coverage is excellent in all areas of 2800 sq ft home. WiFi speeds with 930 Mbps wired internet run 400-600 Mbps using 5 ghz band and modern clients when the two nodes are connected via ethernet. I have had to reboot the unit that does the PPPoE authentication to the fiber modem every month or so. Not sure what’s up with that. I like that each node has a bunch of ethernet ports. Bottom line: recommended.
