Powerful Wi-Fi router – Very happy with this router. Besides it’s speed and accuracy, it auto reboots after power interruption. Only issue: it doesn’t have a USB port and capability to connect a hard drive for automatic backups for computers on its network

If you want to hardwire more than one device into the router (e.g. desktop PC, printer), you will need a switch since there is only one jack available. Not a big deal. Setup was easy with a smartphone, but a web interface would be nice to have.

Great speed, but a HUGE caveat… – We’ve been using this for about a month now with the “main” router on the 1st floor and the “satellite” unit positioned centrally on the second floor; both units in the kit are identical, so it doesn’t matter which one you use as your main router and which for the satellite. We have seen an INCREDIBLE improvement in download speeds over our previous setup, which was the NeatGear Nighthawk X10 R9000 AD router (which STILL sells for close to $400 after all this time) coupled with the Nighthawk EX7700 range extender.

Where it was needed most the AX11000 performed as promised, delivering high speeds and coverage greatly improved over a single router system. Downside – the AX1100 failed to deliver consistently to all locations; it appears at least a third ARRIS relay will be needed. The units are big and ugly. Set up app takes some work to get through.
