It works. – My signal is much better upstairs and on the porch as I hoped. My only crab is that the instructions were gobbledegook probably written by someone who speaks little English. The unit was however smarter than both of us and began working in only a few minutes. Be patient!

Works as promised but instructions are a bit confusing – Easy to set up and so far works great – twice as expensive as some others – no idea if its worth it. Instructions have to be read thoroughly and some of the language is a bit confusing (they say use the same ‘password’ as you use for the network but there is no field called ‘password’ on the interface – it turns out the ‘pre-shared key’ is your network password – sure would be nice if they made that clear. Also you end up with two versions of the extender – 2G vs – 5G what’s the difference? not idea. Also there are lights on the device listed as ‘signal indicator’ – my top light flashes sporadically – what does that mean? again, no idea….so it seems to be working but there are some areas of confusion for your average consumer.

Good WIFI extender. Works as advertised. – I purchased the WIFI extender to improve my internet connection to our outside security cameras. Two of our cameras were getting a weak signal from our DSL internet. Our internet signal in our house is pretty good. I wanted a WIFI extender that was not real expensive that would increase our internet signal to our cameras outside. This WIFI extender did the job and I am now getting a nice signal to our outside cameras. The extender itself will usually show two lighted bars for the signal it receives from our router. Sometimes a third light will go on, but it will only last a short time and return back to the two bars. I found the setup a little challenging. I had to reset the unit several times before I could get it up and going. I originally tried to set it up using my phone. I’m not sure if it was the user or the unit, but It just would not connect to our internet. I eventually migrated to my PC and was able to get it going. The extender does get pretty warm like others have stated. I have it placed where it getting warm is not a safety issue so I’m OK with that. Overall it is a good unit for at a good price.
