worked perfect for my Unifi switches – Did exactly as it was supposed to.

Perfect to connect two SFP+ devices – I have been upgrading my network to 10GB so I order a 10GB SFP+ card for my Synology enterprise NAS. Using this SFP+ cable I attached it to the NAS and to my Microtik 10Gb switch. Bam, 10Gb speeds from a 6 year old NAS. (It might be 6 years old but it has a Xeon 2.7Ghz processor, 32 GB ram and 12 10TB SAS drives. Well worth upgrading I’d say. Previously the NAS had 4 1Gb ethernet connection.

Exactly as described – Good value/construction. Paired at 10G speeds immediately between a Zyxel switch and Solarflare card.

Nice cable – Great Twinax cable. Good solid connection, good feeling cable, passes 0’s and 1’s with no issues. 🙂

Please don’t buy this – Thought I would pick these up to link my Ubiquiti switches together at 10Gb. Ended up not even negotiating higher than 10 megabits and had a ton of packet loss.

BOGO! – When I bought these, the price for two .5m cables was same as as the price for one. My switches had a few extra sfp’s so I was able to use the DAC as uplinks to free other ports. I can’t verify use for 10gb, but no issues for 1gb.

Fine with Ubiquiti Unifi gear – It’s connecting a Unifi dream machine pro to a unifi switch. No drama. The big reason for using this link between the two is that it’s supposed to take less power, which means both devices run just a little bit cooler.

Works good – Works fine but was too short for where I needed it so I bought three more longer ones.
