Test right away – One of these was sent used and sold as new. I sent one not working right and got a different one that worked better.

No improvement over an Aigital 4G LTE Antenna – so far…. – I am currently using an “SMA 4G LTE Antenna” from Aigital with dual Mimo SMA connectors on an AT&T ZTE MF249 Hotspot router. I connected this unit inline and the little 3″ antenna provided was positioned in an open window facing the cell tower located about 3 miles away. I only got 3 bars (same as without this ‘booster’). Speedtests didn’t show any gain in either download or upload speeds. There isn’t enough cable provided for positioning the little antenna ‘outside’, so, hoping for a good position ‘inside’ with an open view of the cell tower. I still have some tweaking to test but a first look doesn’t improve my router speeds. It may help to put the little magnetic bottom antenna on a piece of metal to improve reception…. pizza pan? 🙂 Anyway, I will continue my tweaking and may be able to upgrade my review with better results. Regardless, this is a lot of money for a product that does not improve performance over a standalone antenna such as the Aigital which was in an open window facing the tower.

The product works but the difference is noticeable – I purchase one a month ago and my speed and connection did not show much of a change but the strength went from -120,-117 to -110,-116. So I got a second weboost to see if made any difference, i have to say that i am impressed before the first one my mofi was not finding tower when trying to check for band strength after i plugged the first one, that was a problem of the past, so I got the second weboost and both connected to outside antennas the signal strength went from -116 to -98, for band 12 and -100 and -103. For band 2 and 4, wich is great for watching Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube videos and downloading games one weboost was enough but I decided to go for a second one because I play alot fighting games online and so far I can not complain its not fiber internet but it works really good, I haven’t notice any over warmth of the device so far I unplug them when I’m done using the internet too so, I don’t have any complain. I was skeptical about it but, it works band 12 full bars some times almost full bars and 2,4 strength in the -100. If there is anything out there that can improve this please let me know I’m open advices.

Seems to not help much with low signal due to obstructions, probably just for distance issues – Being in a rural wooded lot I get a weak signal off of AT&Ts network. I use two Yagi LTE antennas about 25 feet high, pointed at the nearest tower about 3 miles away. I wont go into the specific numbers but I get about two bars with this setup. When I hooked up two of these boosters (one for each antenna) I did get a total 3-4 bars of signal, but the signal quality didn’t improve. Using the boosters I got maybe an extra 1-2 megs in speed. For the cost of these I don’t see it being worth it, so ended up returning both boosters. These boosters probably help out much more with signal issues due to distance. For bad signals because of obstructions, it seems they don’t help much; if at all.

Expensive, but does the job it was made to do. – It works. That’s What I bought it for. It does exactly what is says, boosts the receive by a little, and the transmit by more. It was about $150 more than I wanted to spend, but it stabilized my 4g connection for verizon. Our camp is at least 5 miles from the tower, actually more. With two external yogi antenna’s, I was able to get two bars, but the connection dropped, and throughput was dialup quality. Downloads were around 1-2Mbps, and uploads a mere 100kbps. Installed the booster on my Novotel T-1114, and it stabilized the connection to keep it from dropping. Increased the receive by like 6db, but increased the transmit a lot. I could get downloads of up to 4 Mbps, and uploads of just under 1 Mbps. Not a great improvement in speed, but the connection was staying up all day, which was huge because without it he modem only worked a few hours of the day and would drop when more then one device connected to the Novotel.
