Can’t handle that much – Well I was excited at first, set it all up and did a speed test on my phone, and was getting over 300 Mbps download (that’s what my plan is good for) as I started connecting other devices, which while they’re all connected I have a max of 10 devices, including the wifi bridge to my out building. As soon as more than just my phone connected immediately had problems with internet latency and speeds, and now the router in the outbuilding wasn’t getting any network, and my wife’s phone wouldn’t load anything, even if her phone was the only device currently connected to, and whether the connection was wireless or wired it didn’t matter. Borrowed a friend’s router to confirm that it was indeed the new router, and with a Google router everything connected and worked perfect. This router just can’t handle any bandwidth at all.

The antenna are a little bulky but I’ll put up with itfor the signal strength. I’ve been surprised at the range on this new WAVLINK router, it eliminated a dead wifi spot in an adjacent bedroom and also extended the range to cover the carport. Very pleased with the performance, zero problems. It was a breeze to set up. The one note I’ll say is the wavlink will light up occassionally in a dark room but it’s not a problem.

Perfect – It was real quick set up in just a few minutes. It automatically puts all of your wireless devices on the best wireless band so that you get the best frequency out of them. It has three bands you have your standard 2.4G and two 5G bands (5G & 5G2). With most wireless devices having 5G capability nowadays you really need two separate bands for 5G. When your device is on 5G you cannot tell when it is switching between 5G or 5G2. So when you are moving around in your office or home it will keep you on the best 5G single. It will also automatically switch you between the two 5G modes depending on the amount of internet traffic that is on one or the other.
