Works fine, as advertised, but take NOTE WINDOWS 11 USERS – I have used this for years with no problem, but when I upgraded to Windows 11, it apparently suddenly conflicted with the motherboards own Bluetooth receiver, and was giving me all kinds of problems. It repeatedly said the drivers were busted, but it was only when I read another review on here, and fully disabled my motherboards own bluetooth receiver that suddenly all the drivers began working fine.

YOU MUST GET THIS DONGLE – READ ON – I am embarrassed to say, recently I’ve been having an issue with the old dongle. Of course my wife noticed it too so we discussed it. She reminded me that old things wear out over time, that it’s natural and not to be shy about just getting a new dongle. So I did. I must say this new dongle is a “big” improvement. Everything is “up and running”, if you know what I mean. It gives me great satisfaction and I’m glad to report, the little woman is pretty doggone satisfied, herself. *wink* *wink*

Flawless – There’s no much to say about it. It works out of the box with all Debian-based Linux distros I’ve tried, and I can walk about 10-15mts away (with walls in between) and my bluetooth headset won’t notice it. Perhaps there are better dongles, but this one is quite decent.

Great Quick Fix For Bluetooth Connectivity – This Bluetooth adapter does exactly what you would think. I was able to easily plug this into my laptop for quick Bluetooth connectivity, which I needed as an easier fix for my malfunctioning internal Bluetooth card. The adapter comes with a small disk that contains drivers, if needed, but my laptop was able to recognize and automatically find the necessary drivers to let me start using the adapter right away. It’s small profile let’s me be able to leave the adapter plugged into the laptop during travel without worry of dragging against my bag or snagging on anything while removing my laptop from the pouch. It’s always a bit of a sacrifice to have to lose a usb port to keep this adapter in place, but there are always other adapters available that can solve this issue. I’d say that if you need a quick on-the-go fix for Bluetooth connectivity and either don’t have the time and/or confidence to disassemble a computer to replace the actual wireless card itself, this is a great and cost-effective solution.
