Excellent support from TP-LINK – Ronald helped me register the TP-Link TL-SG108PE that I bought from Amazon. He understood my new product registration right away and solved my problem. I have been a loyal customer of TP-link. I trust their products and their excellent support team.

Not adoptable through Omada – This works perfectly well as an unmanaged switch with POE, which I use to power two TP-LINK EAP225 access points, both of which I’ve adopted and control through Omada. This switch, however, is invisible to Omada, which makes it tricky to assign certain wired devices to VLANs. I wish I’d realized that and bought an Omada compatible managed switch.

Simple to use and does what is needed – After doing months of research, speaking with a business rep with TP-Link I made the switched from Ubiquiti which was due to the never ending price hikes, The lack of inventory and very poor Ubiquiti support. This Omada platform is a game changer and like all software it will continue to grow to meet the demands of consumers and business. Tom and Mary has been the greatest with speedy assistance and response. TP-Link has some new hardware coming as well that will easily meet the needs of my larger customers so I am trying to contain my excitement but its not working very well as i keep checking the site daily..lol Thank you TP-Link for making great products and excellent support team. You have a customer for life!

Misses the mark to being great – I have been using the Unifi 8-60W unit. Due to supply shortages, I needed to find something in comparison for a quick project. My projects are for non-profits, so budget is important. Ease of remote support is important. Depending on your use, this unit may disappoint with its lack of some minor things that would otherwise make it a great device. If I were TP-Link, I would think twice about categorizing it as a “Business Solution”.

Easy set up and deployment – Setup was super simple, basically plug and play. I’m not tech illiterate, but I’m also not an IT wiz. I’m running Poe cameras out of every port and haven’t run into any bandwidth or power issues.
