Very stable connection using this dongle. Well worth it. – I have tried 4 different dongles and always has issues with a microphone and camera working correctly. I believe it was due to the power consumption. This dongle handles both with no issues at all.

Does not reliably connect to lan – More than half the time upon starting my 2021 M1 iMac, the lan would not connect via the hub. I returned the hub for a replacement — it had the same issue. I tried two different Ethernet cables and two different ports on my router without success.

Great expansion with power! – I had to replace my old USB hub because it didn’t have enough power transfer to use some peripherals, so I had to constantly unplug and move things. This one is much better and is powerful enough for what I need, plus has the benefit of plugging into a USB-C port so my laptop’s USB ports are free for other things that need the most power, like my monitor.
