Great coverage – This boosted our WiFi coverage in our house tremendously. Without it most of the house only received one bar with minimal speeds, with this the whole house receives full bars and the speed has doubled and tripled at times. It’s great that you can have 35 devices connected to this. I am very impressed with this especially after seeing some other reviews. The four-year rating is simply because it does take up my entire outlet due to the size which is inconvenient for where I am using it. Other than that, this is a great product for my house so far, and has greatly improved our WiFi issue. My house is about 2000 sq. ft. and our router is on one side of the house. I recommend.

The Wifi made it upstairs in an old house! – Got your modem and router downstairs and children who are upstairs and say no Wifi? This is an easy setup and now there’s Wifi for the upstairs, and no more complaing kids. Win win!

Works as Expected, but Not Quite as Good as I Hoped – I’ve been hit or miss in my life with these range extenders. This one is average, I’d say. Setup is ok, but the print is tiny and the app is mediocre. You really have to watch the video. Speed is fair. There’s a large drop off between the main router and this device at the point of the device. This repeater is 1/4 the speed of the router at that spot. But the router fades in my bedroom and this repeater gets the range to the bedroom, with another large drop off, but at least it’s a usable throughput.

It’s Just OK as a WIFI Extender/Repeater – I have a Dual Band Router and I had to make several adjustments to the router in order for the repeater to work. I had to reset the repeater and found the large reset button difficult to operate. The repeater also covers the entire electrical outlet. I had to change the SSID of my router in order for the repeater to work on the 5G band. I had a power failure after I completed the initial set up. Even though I saved my settings in the App, I had to start over again from scratch. I tested the repeater extensively by placing the repeater midway between the router and my target PC. On the 5G band the signal from my router to my PC directly was weaker but the speed was 200 mps. The signal from the router going through the repeater was stronger but the speed fell to less than half at 65mps. I conducted this test multiple times and in every case the speed using the extender was reduced by 50 % to 70 %. Using 2.4 G the opposite ocurred. Going from the router direct to PC my speed was 25 mps. When I went from the router through the repeater to the PC the signal was stronger and the speed jumped to 80 mps. I am currently using the repeater to boost the 2.4G to my wireless cameras and it seems to work fine. So on the 5G band the repeater will make the signal stronger to reach a larger area but you are going to sacrifice speed in order to do that. Depending on what router you have the setup can be rather challenging and the App and directions are not very clear.
