Capable out of the box, but even better with full control – Coming from the 4G LBR20 model this is definitely a nice upgrade. The only real downside is the crazy MSRP (eleven hundred bucks) and Netgear’s refusal to sell this without a satellite (which would help bring down the cost a good bit, IMHO). That being said it is very nice that Netgear includes the option to set the TTL on the cellular WAN (at least on the initial release of the OEM firmware) which makes the device work with a good deal more unlimited data plans out of the box without having to mod it (unlike the LBR20 which requires setting iptables rules manually in the CLI for this).
