Better than many – Certainly an improvement in signal strength over my old wifi router. Not as much as expected. It penetrates about 25 feet further into the house but I still need a booster to get to the other side.

WOW – 9 walls and about 250 ft. delivers a 5 bar status to my nighthawk AC1900 range extender in the guest house out back!!! That’s what I call a Router. Kinda what I expected from a large house Router. we are on 1/2 acer and I needed something with oomf. Powers my 4K Smart TV and more. Been using it for 2 mounths and so far so good! No Glitches. Fast and consistent speed for a good price – I have been using this for about a month now. It really does boost the internet speed. I’m not sure if that’s because my old Netgear router is old and / or breaking. Or if this router is just that much faster and built that much better. It can handle a lot of connected wireless devices at one time. It’s not “pretty” and it doesn’t hide away easily. However, it’s in a loft where no one sees it so it doesn’t matter anyway. I do a speed test every few days and it’s quite a consistent signal. I would say this is a good buy.

First time Nighthawk user – Been wanting the netgear nighthawk for a long time. It has features I’m not used to and trying to understand. I know routers, but this one is taking me for a ride beyond what I’m used to. I like it. But to be honest, I ended up returning it, not because of any flaws, walmart had this on clearance at half the price. Amazon is great and I’m a frequesnt buyer, but sometimes you do have to look around to find sales. Amazon just have frequent buyer points. I spend enought yearly with them.

Disappointed – Drops wifi constantly and has terrible range – not even 300 square feet. Very disappointed!!

Pain in the Butt. I really like simple things, that play and play nicely ! – This one you have to do a lot of setting up. I’m pissed in a way, because one would think, if you have a Net gear router, Net gear splitter, Net gear relay, They all should plug and play along,,, Not so. As for the main router, yeah it’s fine, nothing I would jump up and down for. I still can’t get internet in my shed from a hard wired router out there, have to call tech support again, hope I get a US person that understands the problem….

Only draw back is a week after hooking up device it went down for no apparent reason. Device totally went offline and I needed to reset the router and reset info. Hope it was just a freak thing and not a foreshadow of a failing device.
