No Ethernet connection, then total failure! – I have had netgear top of the line routers for a long time but this was a total failure. The problem was an intermittent cat 7 cable outdoors that had connection signals via cable tester but no throughput signal. I cannot blame the router since it worked for a while then nothing. Mea culpa! I bought a top of the line tp-link 6e router and same problem! Checked cable run for 250 ft cat 7 and saw cracked insulation from Texas sun along multiple areas, then I realized that this run was over 7 years old!

I Love It – DISCLAIMER: I’m not one of those bells and whistles guys when it comes to wifi routers…I’m virtually a plug-and-player minus a few tweaks so I’m judging this one signal strength/distance/speed. I also own no devices to utilize the wifi 6e so go me and my incessant need for bleeding edge tech.

Rock solid performance & extremely fast wifi – Finally overloaded my venerable old Linksys WRT 1900 AC router with too many devices & it would just choke up & overheat until I power cycled it. Again. It did that when it was new too, but the signal strength & massive coverage I got with it made it worth the trouble of cycling pwr once every 2 or 3 weeks. Until it was every other day & that’s when I started looking at a replacement.

Excellent range for metal shop building – Bought this for a metal shop building. Great range. Cell phone app makes basic setup easy but I recommend the routerlogin.net setup webpage if you have any advanced settings such as a static IP or need to use the router as a bridge access point.

The Nighthawk RAXE300 is definitely the stealth fighter of routers. – The Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 not only resembles a state of the art stealth fighter, it also takes total command and control of the WiFi air space just like stealth fighter aircraft take complete ownership of their air-based environment. Quite seriously, since installing the Nighthawk router, I have experienced nothing but WiFi bliss. Unbelievably easy to install and operate using excellent step-by-step instructions provided by NetGear; a well designed and user friendly phone app for monitoring everything important about the router and its performance; and most importantly, a super reliable speed-of-light connection to the internet. And even though the routers specs indicate a coverage area of around 2500 sq ft, I live in a house that is somewhat larger and every single inch is covered with excellent service. I am not a robot, nor am I a computer guy, but as a reasonably normal human I swear that the Nighthawk RAXE300 is a fantastic router that will far exceed expectations. I didn’t know that WiFi could be so sweet simply by installing a NetGear Nighthawk router. And with the name “Nighthawk,” it even sounds cool.

Great router and exactly what I needed – Seriously what an improvement over my previous mesh system. I had eero before and it just wasn’t providing my family and I with consistent performance throughout the home. I spent a long time researching routers and this bad boy provides. Easy setup and out of the box performance is incredible. We have 1GB internet and wirelessly throughout the house we see anywhere from 500-700MB/s speeds and that includes outside along the perimeter of the house. Insane! Also, I’m heavily invested in HomeKit and smart equipment. Eero failed to connect them consistently and I was constantly reconnecting them to my network. With this router I have zero issue with my IoT devices. Connect without issue and just work. Overall, super happy with the purchase and highly recommend.
