Does its job, but it’s not without its quirks – After about 6 months of use, I believe I have enough experience with this device to provide a few comments.

Cheap and fits the bill – For those of us nerds with multiple computers and lots of USB geekery, these USB switches really fit the bill. I started out with this 2-port version, which was dirt cheap but yet well-made and comes with everything needed. There are even some neat touches like some extra “buttons” with different icons on them you can swap with the built-in button faces so you can help remember what you have plugged into the two ports (as I recall there’s a printer one, hard drive, and a couple others–in addition to just plain numbers 1 and 2). The button faces attach magnetically to the unit and are easy to swap out as needed but they also stay put just fine under normal use.

Awesome Product and Very Good Price – I bought this device a few weeks ago to share my keyboard and mouse among two computers (one desktop and one laptop). The device works very well and I have not had a single problem. It even works with a USB hub!! How cool is that!
