not compatible – Bought this hub to replace one that died. The ad said USB dongle but when it came in, ot had some sort of micro dongle (maybe for Mac?). So, I never got a chance t use it (returned). If the ad said dongle for Mac, I never would have ordered it. If knuckleheads like this would just get their ads correct, they wouldn’t have so many returns.

This device is perfect! I have found for mobile development in particular it is a life save with the additional SD storage access.

Love it! – Love this HUB. I had the previous version & upgraded to USB-C When I bought a Samsung Galaxy S10E cell phone. I now use it with USB C fast charging cords. What a difference in charging speed! Love USB-C. Hub is perfect to meet ALL my device needs & easily portable. I call it my harmonica.

Does not work on a Mac – Does not work on Mac. I also tried another model which also did not work.

Agree with the other review it does not work well with Mac – So for full disclosure I actually bought this at Staples to use with my Mac. It really does not work well. I plugged my wireless mouse in and would try to plug my phone in to sync with iTunes. On this adapter the mouse response was choppy and the Mac would not recognize my phone. I bought a different adapter on amazon and my phone is recognized and the mouse response is perfect.

Not for critical applications – This hub is painfully intermittent and has been the cause of several crashes in Pro Tools 2021. I regret wasting the $40. After a harrowing 3 weeks of trying to pinpoint the culprit in the interruption of my workflow, I find that THIS thing is the problem. I had several drives attached through this hub that kept ejecting randomly on my Mac Mini. Not a device you want to use if you have a client looking over your shoulder while their recording session just crashed. If you are an audio or video pro, go to OWC for hubs. Learned my lesson.
