Up and running in Canada – Before I purchased the device I contacted Bell who was my wireless provider who then confirmed yes this would work on Bell. However when I purchased and brought device into store to get set up with EMEI number they informed me it was not compatible. I have now switch all devices including this hotspot to Rogers and works great. So yes works in Canada on Rogers. I love the Wi-Fi repeater feature to save data and then cellular when no wifi.

Works but heats up insanely/dangerously hot – The setup was easy and worked well. Battery life was weak and only lasted for around 4 hours. It would also get insanely hot randomly while in my handbag as if it was going to explode. I have never encountered that with similar huawei devices I have rented while traveling which was certainly alarming. There were also times when the device would go into sleep mode in a matter of seconds after being turned on and also when the wifi signal would drop all of a sudden. No big deal but just points to note.
