Great router with a lot of cool features and the ability to customize to your hearts content. – This is a great little device. First of all, I’m using it with T-mobile, and I have not yet tested it with any other carrier. It worked right out of the box with my T-Mobile prepaid hotspot data Sim. Speeds are good, the battery isn’t as good as the one in my old Netgear hotspot but it does work in a pinch. If you’re not a tech nerd, you can pretty much just use this out of the box as is, or you can go into the portal and customize away. The range is really good. I’m using it to connect a TV in my art studio shed which is about 40 feet from the hotspot. And it’s working just fine. The signal is better than with my Netgear nighthawk M1 which has my AT&T Sim in it. I keep meaning to pull that Sim out and try it in this router and I just haven’t gotten around to it. I will update the review when I do.

Not fast, but does the job! – This is a great little device! Got it set up on T-Mobile and it gets about 30mb/s download and about 5-10mb/s upload. Definitely not blazing fast, but for my use case (Just having service for a laptop and Nintendo Switch out and about) it is great!

Too flaky and unreliable – Had great hopes for this based on reviews of their other products. Unfortunately, this unit has been nothing but flaky. USB tethering drops the Internet connection and later refuses to connect to the phone at all. Repeater mode drops the Internet connection randomly. Even using it as a hardwired router with a WAN and LAN CAT6 Ethernet connection wouldn’t pass traffic reliably. Did not try the built-in cellular modem, but I wouldn’t hold out any hope for it. Tried updating the firmware, multiple factory resets, diving into the Luci panel, etc. with no luck. I’ve seen reports from other users with the same issues, and one review stating that there are board issues with the device.

Great Device! – We travel full time in an RV and needed a backup for our AT&T router. This has worked so well we now use this one as our first choice and the AT&T as the backup.

Works great with latest OpenWrt 22.03 – Very nice product I chose this over the more expensive MUDI model since they have the same modem and identical Qualcomm 9531 chipset so speeds should be very similar despite not including 5GHz.

Works great with Google Fi Data Only SIM – This is solution I was looking for to alleviate battery consumption when Tethering from my phone.
