Web Management – I purchased this router with great expectations…its easy to install good wifi signal…….There is one major problem …I cannot log on to the web management page..The router comes with a SSID and no password …so the router is open and anyone can access my network ….so I put it away because to ship it back would cost me the cost of the router…..I live in the Caribbean …I I can get a solution one day

Buy it and you will never Regret. The Router That Was Promised. – My previous router worked pretty well when in the same room, although when I ran a speed test I was getting about 1/2 to 1/3 of the speed I would get when plugged directly into the modem. If I left the room where the router was my internet connection was spotty or non-existent. So I bought this router to replace my older one to see if that was the problem, and it was.

Nothing special but does what it should – I got this because the modem/router our ISP provided kept dropping devices from WiFi. Setup was pretty straightforward for someone with at least home experience with network setup. I was initially disappointed because the radio signal wasn’t any stronger than the ISP-provided modem/router (as indicated by my desktop spectrum display app (Netspot), but in fairness, maybe all but the cheapest routers really have about the same transmit strength. I have no way to assess this router’s receiving capability, but everything I tried to connect worked, including cameras on the other side of brick walls. It reboots quickly and configuration changes take effect quickly, plus usually there’s a countdown timer for resetting items. Don’t expect detailed explanations from the “help” feature–the help screens don’t say much more than what’s obvious, but googling can yield all the info you need. Although unimportant in itself, the word “unknown,” which is used repeatedly in the configuration screens, is misspelled; to me this suggests lack of thoroughness in testing. If you can find a name brand router for about the same price, I’d suggest getting it instead, but this one is OK.
