Fair cellular router – works, strange user interface, fall back and wan switching not stable

The Location of this router in the house is the key – Speeds are okay to play warzone on xbox series X no lag compared to note10s wifi hotspot. I average 25mpbs-50down xbox settings test (peak was 80down on speedtest.net via etherner)/ and15mpbs-25upload using a phone sim. I WENT CHEAP WITH THIS ROUTER BECAUSE I WAS WORRIED IT WOULDN’T WORK. MY ADVICE IS SKIP CAT4/6 MODEMS LIKE THIS ONE AND BUY NEWER cat 12/16 IF YOU DESIRE HIGHER SPEEDS. I’m okay with this one for now. OpenVpn seems not functional.

Works well to provide a cellular hotspot – I purchased this to use with a Google Fi data only SIM. I wanted something to use instead of my phone for providing a hotspot. I had a Huawei mobile broadband USB dongle, but it did not work with the Google Fi SIM. I purchased this and it was simple to set up and use.

Make sure on your carrier application. – Although the description indicated it the unit did not work with Sprint. The seller was very responsive but he could not tell me how to make it work with Sprint. Return was easy.

Don’t waste your time – After receiving this it took 3days trying to set up and finally just returned it. QR code to set up doesn’t work and you can’t get anyone to answer the phone

Needs a few tricks to work – Seller is responsive when asking questions on Amazon – US Mobile white SIM card settings that worked for me were: Under Network –>3G/4G –> ISP: Verizon –> APN server: PWG. A standard reboot did not work. Needed to unplug the unit for a minute and then plug it in again and then it registered. If you ask a question here in Amazon the seller will respond pretty quickly.
