No customer service/updated 11/14 – I have emailed CS multiple times since September with no follow up. My extender will not hook up, and when I use the QR code it sends me to a link that I thought was help. Turns out I was sent to a movie subscription page. I called them to cancel and tried the QR code again. Same thing…. UPDATE: I have spoke to CS and resolved the issue.

Improves WIFI Signal Coverage – The best/most positive feature was the ease of connection to our T-Mobile WIFI gateway, although this was done without utilizing the frequently used WPS linkage procedure (not an option with the T-Mobile WIFI gateway). I would describe the signal strength from the extender as average. We have 2 additional extenders in our 3000 sq. ft. home, which were previously purchased; I am unable to measure whether this extender provides more or less signal transmission output than the 2 older extenders in the house. In-home devices (TVs, computers, mobile devices) that are connected to each of the 3 extenders indicate basically the same level of signal quality/strength coming from all 3 of the WIFI extenders. We’re generally pleased with the function of this new extender, however, there is one frustrating characteristic — whatever electrical receptacle you choose to use to attach this extender to cannot accommodate another plugged in cord in the shared receptacle due to the overreaching size of the extender (see photos). I was hopeful that I might be able to somehow manipulate the antennas on the unit to permit usage of the adjoining open receptacle, but it is simply not possible. Those who intend to use their 2-receptacle wall plugin exclusively for the extender with no need to ever use the 2nd open receptacle will have no issue with this, of course.

I was pleased to see the installation steps and options on the laptop screen. It was all laid out in front of me, leading me to believe it would work. Once that was done, I plugged the range extender into an outlet in my master bedroom and checked my living room’s built-in wifi to find it. I switched my living room WIFI connection from the router to the extender and got the strong signal I had been hoping for.

Very Easy to install & affordable – My main router is on my living room so I barely get any connection, I was gonna buy another router and have and 2nd one on the 2nd floor but it was a little pricy because I had to buy a router which is $100+ for a high quality plus another $10-20 for the lan cable. This works just fine and saved a lot of money.
