Works great – I installed this product in a Cisco C3750X-48P switch with module C3KX-NM-10G with no issues.

Just what I needed – This little add on was a perfect setup for a network upgrade

Not backward compatible with Ubiquiti 2.5G ethernet – I tried using this adapter to make a connection between a Ubiquiti 10G SFP+ port and an Ubiquiti 2.5G RJ-45 port and it it could not make a data connection. (I tried this with an Enterprise 8 POE and an Enterprise 24 POE, in both directions and no neither worked.) However a pair of these were able to create a 10G connection between the SFP+ ports on the two switches.

I purchased this to handle 2.5gb on Dell Inspirion 5675 and it works Great – I liked that it worked at 2.5gb in my Ubiquiti switch and on my Dell Inspirion 5675. Not much else to say. Insert this transceiver into the 10gb switch and plug in a Cat 6a cable and in my case I reconfigured both the NIC on the PC and the port on the 10gb switch to Auto Negotiate and it worked fine and since I was using only a 2.5gb NIC it worked great.

These work great with Ubiquiti – These work great with the current Ubiquiti product generation. I use them with the Unifi and Edge line. Great throughput. No excessive heat.

Works with a Netgear MS510TX Switch – I bought this for a Netgear MS510TX multgig switch. It has one SPF+ port (slot 10). I plugged in the module to the switch and then plugged into my Alienware Aurora R13’s 2.5Gbps built in motherboard port. I am getting 125Mbps download and 20Mbps up. If I connect to one of the MS510TX’s 2.5GBps port I get 1400Mbps download and 44Mbps up. Clearly an issue with this module or its not Netgear compatible as it claims.

They work as advertised – Plugged them in and have gotten the throughput I expected.

Good company, quality transceiver. Aruba issues – Recently bought an HP Aruba 1930. The 80m transceiver worked partially. It would negotiate and send/receive data but the local-managed UI in Aruba would break — showing no port data for any port when this module was in an SFP+ port. If you run into this, you may want to try a different module coded for Aruba. 10GTek did say they updated the description, which is great. They don’t make an 80m Aruba module at this time.
